La Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT) a levé le voile jeudi 12 septembre sur l’affiche 2014 des Internationaux de France de tennis. Réalisé par Juan Uslé, l’œuvre suscite, comme celle de l’édition 2012, beaucoup de réactions négatives, sur les réseaux sociaux.

Il est vrai qu’elle est un peu tirée par les cheveux mais voici comment la FFT la présente : “Grand nom de l’art contemporain, et digne héritier de Miro, Tapiés et Plensa, il est le sixième artiste espagnol à signer le visuel des Internationaux de France.
Privilégiant la représentation de l’affrontement dramatique mais civilisé entre les joueurs, il dessine le filet, la balle, l’action héroïque dans une œuvre baroque et colorée.” De son côté Juan Uslé explique qu’il voulait “résumer l’essence du jeu : le filet, la balle et l’action.»

La confection de l’affiche de Roland Garros est confiée depuis 1980 à un grand nom de l’art contemporain. C’est donc la 34e affiche des Internationaux de France et en voici l’intégralité. Quelles sont les plus belles, les plus moches, les plus originales ? A vous de juger.
